I'm finally doing it! I have been wanting to start my own lifestyle photography business for a few years now and I am proud to say, it's officially happening!Â
I graduated with a psychology major at Hawaii Pacific University and until I had my daughter a year ago, I was a behavioral technician for children (young adults) with special needs. I LOVED my job and clients immensely, but on top of having a newborn, my oldest son started Kindergarten last year and continuing after school sessions would mean that I did not get to see him all week, which my mama heart just could not do. So sadly, I put a pause on that profession and decided I would be a stay at home mom with the hopes of starting a photography business someday.

THE TIME HAS COME!
Â
Photography has been a long time interest of mine. I have some quite embarrassing and cringe worthy {disposable camera} photos from when I was about twelve of my poor little brother and our cousin that I thought were just SO beautiful. If you are lucky, you will never have to see them, ha! My husband bought me my first DSLR (Canon Rebel) for our first anniversary and I was eager to start learning! I joined the photography forum, Clickin Moms, and so loved the community, education, and incredible inspiration that helped me find my voice.Â
I'm so excited to be joining this creative field and can't wait to make connections with sweet and fun families from Tacoma and around the Puget Sound!Â
My loves, Desmond, Avonlea, and Felix.
